Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience; experience representing insurers is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial general liability (CGL) insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Handle all phases of insurance coverage litigation from pleadings through trial preparation.
• Attend and participate in depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
• Draft and review legal documents to the highest standard.
• Conduct thorough legal research and create persuasive written work product.
• Collaborate closely with partners and associates on litigation projects.
• Communicate directly with clients, building trust and delivering strategic guidance.
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
• Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving complex coverage disputes.

• Attend and participate in depositions, court appearances, hearings, and mediations
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and legal memoranda to the highest standard
• Conduct thorough legal research and translate complex findings into clear, persuasive written work product
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and support staff on multi-matter litigation projects
• Communicate directly with clients, building trust and delivering strategic legal guidance
• Represent clients in court and before government agencies
• Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving complex coverage disputes efficiently

Qualifications
