Qualifications

• Requires JD and active New York bar admission.
• 2–10 years post-bar experience in insurance coverage or defense.
• Strong ability to analyze coverage issues and draft opinions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze policies and draft coverage opinions and letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions and coverage litigation.
• Advise carriers on first-party, third-party, and reinsurance issues.
• Manage discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Support related insurance defense work where coverage and liability overlap.
