Distinct North America in New York City is seeking an attorney for its growing Insurance Coverage practice. The role offers hybrid work, ongoing client contact, and exposure to sophisticated coverage matters across CGL, D&O, E&O, EPL, and more.

You will manage matters through the full lifecycle, including litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on quality, analysis and practical guidance. NY/NJ bar admission is required; PA admission is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of insurance coverage and policy analysis experience.
• Admission to the New York and/or New Jersey Bar; Pennsylvania admission would be an advantage.
• Strong research and writing skills with litigation experience from inception through trial.

Responsabilités

• Work across the full lifecycle of coverage matters and policy analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions and coverage opinions.
• Advise clients with practical, commercially focused guidance.
• Handle litigation in state and federal courts.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and other proceedings.
• Stay ahead of developments in insurance law.
