Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking an Insurance Coverage/Defense Attorney in Manhattan or Holmdel, NJ (Hybrid). The role focuses on coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, and complex insurance defense for U.S. and global carriers, including Lloyd’s syndicates and reinsurers.

The team coordinates defense and coverage analysis to mitigate exposure. The candidate will draft coverage opinions, handle declaratory actions, defend complex liability files, and advise carriers on fraud

Qualifications

• JD and active New York or New Jersey bar.
• 4–8 years post-bar experience in insurance coverage or insurance defense.
• Interest in moving into coverage opinions.

Responsibilities

• Draft coverage opinions and reservation-of-rights letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions.
• Defend complex liability files and mitigate exposure with additional-insured and indemnity arguments.
• Advise carriers on fraud, SIU, and pre-suit investigations.
• Take depositions and brief coverage and liability motions.
