Job summary

Cozen O’Connor’s Global Insurance Department seeks an associate with 3+ years of significant insurance coverage litigation experience to join the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating first-party insurance claims, with an emphasis on breach of contract and bad faith claims.

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of litigation, such as taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of significant insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Experience litigating first-party insurance claims, breach of contract and bad faith.
• Managing all aspects of litigation: taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions.
• Active participation in expert inspections and preparation/review of expert reports, with opportunities to participate in trials.
• Texas Bar admission required.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
