Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is assisting a national P&C carrier in Tampa, FL to fill a temporary Customer Service Coordinator role in their new business and underwriting teams. You will process applications, licensing, contracts, and policy-related paperwork, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is process-driven, detail-oriented, and communicates professionally with agents, clients, and internal partners.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
Licensure: 4-40 Customer Service Representative preferred but not required.
Two years in customer service or office administration; insurance processing preferred.
Experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and industry software; able to research online.
Excellent communication and professional interaction with internal and external personnel.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player capable of contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Process applications, agent contracting paperwork, licenses, forms and required information; review for completeness and identify missing documents.
Respond to questions from agents regarding licensing and appointment status.
Handle all OIR agent appointments.
Respond to clients and others related to policy processing.
Prepare agent and client mailings per established procedures.
Verify accuracy of insurance company records.
Update agency files to ensure current contact information and regulatory compliance.
Assist with servicing existing clients.
Communicate professionally with coworkers, management, clients, vendors.
Participate in special projects and maintain regulatory compliance.
