Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises in Missouri is seeking an entry-level Sales Agent Trainee to learn and later become a Sales Agent. The role focuses on insurance products and Club memberships, with duties in-office and off-site as directed, aligned with underwriting rules and member service goals.

Responsibilities include selling insurance, promoting Club services, developing leads, and processing documentation while maintaining product balance and pursuing cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred 1-3 years Insurance sales/service.
• Preferred Oral and written communication skills required.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Previously demonstrated competitive and persistent nature required.
• Organization skill required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Insurance products using the fundamentals of SSC.
• Quote rates, qualify applicants, inspect vehicles or property and complete documentation per underwriting criteria.
• Sell Club memberships and promote services; provide information on membership and insurance.
• Develop sales leads and utilize leads from all sources.
• Manage time and organize information to achieve goals.
• Take advantage of cross-sell opportunities to enhance product balance.
• Provide insurance policy service and complete/update forms as needed.
• Attend meetings, training workshops and seminars.
