Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• Intermediate understanding of Life & Health insurance concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar agency management systems is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Active Life & Health licenses required; advanced certifications (e.g., CEBS, RHU, REBC) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing prompt and professional service during onboarding and relationship management.
• Manage a diverse book of business with varying account types and carrier relationships.
• Coordinate and facilitate proposals, presentations and client confirmations on plans.
• Review contracts for accuracy and work with carriers to make corrections as needed.
• Assist with gathering underwriting information and preparing submission materials.
• Maintain strong carrier relationships to secure competitive quotes and solutions.
• Ensure renewal and retention of accounts through proactive service and relationship management.
• Lead annual benefit renewal activities including pricing and pre-renewal presentations.
• Coordinate and present at annual open enrollment meetings.
• Process enrollment changes and maintain records in Salesforce/agency systems.
• Collaborate with Producers, Client Managers, and internal stakeholders to support client needs.
