Hotchkiss Insurance in Houston is offering a Client Services Intern position to support policy management, inquiries, and admin tasks across the client service team, bridging sales and service to understand the full lifecycle from initial contact to ongoing policy support.

This internship is ideal for students pursuing careers in insurance client services, risk management, or customer service, providing hands-on experience, professional networking, and potential opportunity for full-time

Competenze

Pursuing a degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance or related field.
Interest in commercial insurance, risk assessment or financial services.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in technology.

Mansioni

Support account managers in handling renewals, endorsements, and client communications.
Research industry trends, target industries, and competitors to support sales and marketing strategies.
Shadow sales agents and attend client meetings or calls to observe interactions (if permitted).
Help process claims and understand the claims lifecycle, from filing to resolution.
Utilize agency management software to update records and generate reports.
Learn and apply compliance requirements, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
Contribute to marketing projects, such as creating promotional materials or drafting client newsletters.
