Job summary

Aon plc is recruiting for a Client Manager to join our National Public Sector team. This hybrid role is office and home-based, serving as the key contact between the Client and Aon and coordinating service delivery with specialist resources.

As a Client Manager, identify client needs, introduce Aon's products and services, build relationships with decision-makers, and grow revenue while adhering to risk management and company policies.

• Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Insurance Client Manager

We're hiring! Aon is currently recruiting for a Client Manager to join our National Public Sector team.

This role is a hybrid role - office and home-based working. The Client Manager is the key contact between the Client and Aon and is responsible for coordinating and managing the provision of service to their clients, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources.

Public Sector

Our Public Sector team works with clients across the whole of the public sector, including: Local Authorities, Police, Fire and Rescue, NHS Education, Central Government and other Not for profit Organisations.

About the role

As a Client Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the service provided to clients, ensuring the highest level of service to each assigned client is in line with the agreed client service tools.

About you

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Knowledge of the Public Sector insurance market and tender processes and possesses the ability to conduct client insurance tenders.
• Ability to build strong insurer relationships, ACII or equivalent desirable.
• Experience managing large, public-sector clients and knowledge of public sector specific risks is essential.
• Commercial understanding of business i.e., market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors and risks, etc.
• An effective communicator and presenter.
• Self-disciplined, organised and results focused.
• Client focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in the provision of client service.
