The Van Ruiten Agency in Reno, NV is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and grow in insurance, sales, business development, and technology. You’ll work closely with the agency owner and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas, including AI and marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers.
• Willingness to learn insurance concepts, technology and multiple business systems.
• Ability to think both analytically and creatively to support growth.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with policy questions, changes, billing needs, renewals and everyday account service.
• Prepare quotes and work with inbound prospects and existing customers across auto, home and other insurance products.
• Review customer accounts, identify coverage needs and explain suitable solutions.
• Follow up on opportunities, referrals and renewals while maintaining accurate CRM activity.
• Contribute to process improvement, technology and AI, marketing and business-development initiatives.
