Job summary

OneGroup, a subsidiary of Community Bank, N.A., is hiring a Personal Insurance Client Advisor in the New York area to respond to client needs and protect assets. You will work in a team with sales and management to ensure service excellence.

Responsibilities include assisting with policy changes, renewals, claims, cross-selling value, and maintaining accurate client records, while meeting metrics and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Property/Casualty license required; ongoing CE.
• 1–3+ years of insurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of policy coverage and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business and build client relationships.
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and claims.
• Advise on value beyond price and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct coverage reviews and advise on loss exposure.
• Proactively reach out to new clients within 30–45 days of new business.
• Coordinate with carriers on reinstatement or rewrite decisions.
• Quote and issue mid-term rewrites as needed.
• Maintain client contact information and servicing tasks in the system.
