Job summary

Beaumont, TX-based hospital seeks a full-time Insurance Claims Coordinator in Risk Management to join our team. You will manage claims, lawsuits, contracts, and insurance applications while supporting compliance and risk-reduction initiatives.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–5:00pm, and requires prior experience in insurance or contract management in hospital settings. Strong data processing and coordination with legal counsel and brokers are essential.

We are hiring a full-time Insurance Claims Coordinator for the Risk Management Department at a local hospital. In this position you will work Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. As our I nsurance Claims Coordinator, you will work through the legal and risk management functions, by managing claims, lawsuits, contracts, and insurance applications. Prior experience in insurance claims, legal claims processing, or contract management in hospitals or related fields is required.

Your duties will include:

• Processing data related to legal and risk management functions.
• Facilitating legal discovery and meetings between legal counsel and hospital staff.
• Manage Hosptial's annual insurance application process and facilitate COI when required, and act as a liaison with insurance brokers, corporate office, and external shareholders.
• Manage invoices, reimbursements, and other financial needs as assigned.
• Prepare month-end accruals for accounting and maintain claims and loss run.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Prior experience in insurance claims, legal claims processing, or contract management in hospitals or related fields.
• Medical terminology is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain immunization records.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks and drug testing.
