Job summary

Palmetto Infusion in Columbia, SC seeks an Insurance Case Manager Lead to supervise and mentor the Insurance Case Management team. You will train staff, streamline processes, and ensure timely processing of orders, verifications, and certifications for patients.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a focus on collaboration, problem solving, and continuous improvement in payor practices within a patient-centered care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of medical insurance case management experience is required or equivalent competency.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Teaches, trains, and develops fellow Insurance Case Managers.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in orientations.
• Manages workflow and runs daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Processes new orders, insurance verifications, and authorization recertifications.
• Maintains knowledge of payor coverage principles and denial letters.
• Communicates effectively with peers, supervisors, and staff.
• Demonstrates problem-solving, strategic thinking, and servant leadership.
