Qualificações

• Must have Producer’s License.
• 3+ years of insurance experience.
• Exposure to insurance brokerage activities.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High sense of urgency.
• Negotiation and sales skills.
• Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms and their application to exposure.
• Knowledge of departmental regulations and policies.
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within prescribed routines and underwriting practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills working with staff and underwriters.
• Experience in standard underwriting practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop client relationships to generate submission opportunities and a regular flow of business.
• Review submission documents to prepare loss pictures, loss summaries, risk summaries, narratives and online research as needed.
• Market the risk by line of coverage to markets to negotiate terms and pricing.
• Provide comparisons and illustrations to support client presentations.
• Utilize automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
• Prepare quotations for agents and respond to inquiries from agents, policyholders, or prospects.
• Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc.
• Review policies for renewal considerations and remarketing.
• Request additional documentation necessary for processing applications, endorsements or cancellations.
• Conduct marketing visits to agents and attend industry events.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and accurate work; mentor team members as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
