Job summary

Jimcor Agency Inc. seeks an experienced insurance professional focused on generating opportunities, client relationships and brokerage placements within their coverage area.

The role negotiates terms with markets, prepares quotations, and supports agents with renewals and remarketing. You will market risks, review submissions, and interact with clients via phone, email, and meetings while leveraging carrier relationships to secure favorable terms.

Qualifications

• Must have Producer’s License.
• 3 plus years of insurance experience.
• Exposure to insurance brokerage activities.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High sense of urgency.
• Negotiation and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships to generate submission opportunities and a regular flow of business.
• Review submission documents and prepare additional information for quotes.
• Market the risk to markets, negotiate terms and pricing.
• Provide comparisons and illustrations to support client presentations.
• Utilize insurance systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
• Prepare quotations for agents and respond to inquiries from agents, policyholders, or prospects.
• Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc.
• Review policies for renewal and remarketing.
• Request documentation needed for applications or cancellations.
• Conduct marketing visits to agents and attend industry events.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely, accurate work and mentor teammates.
