Amwins, the leading specialty insurance distributor, seeks an Associate Broker in San Diego to join our Brokerage team. You will review submissions, analyze coverage needs, and develop market proposals while building strong relationships with clients, agencies, and underwriters.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing education, and career growth within a supportive culture. Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience and an annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred.
• Cyber insurance experience preferred.
• Must have current P&C license.
• Experience developing relationships at all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze submission information to issue quotes and proposals.
• Conduct market analysis and select appropriate carriers.
• Develop coverage proposals and negotiate terms with underwriters.
• Coordinate endorsements, forms, and underwriting information.
• Respond to questions and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
• Build relationships with agency and underwriter partners.
• Monitor reports for consistency and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team needs.
