Job summary

Amwins in El Segundo is seeking an Associate Broker to join the Brokerage team. The role focuses on reviewing submissions, quoting, market selection and developing coverage proposals. You will build relationships with agencies and underwriters and handle endorsements and related tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred.
• Must have current P&C license.
• Experience developing relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes.
• Analyze submissions and provide market selection.
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals.
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with agency and underwriter partners.
• Respond to calls/requests and provide resolution.
• Supervise or delegate endorsements, forms, and underwriting information.
• Monitor reports for consistency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Join our Amwins Brokerage team in El Segundo as an Associate Broker!

Noneof our positions are commission-based or involve cold calling.

Each Associate Broker provides vital team functions:

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
• Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
• Develop relationships with our agency and underwriter partners
• Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
• Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers
• Monitor various reports for consistency
• Other duties as assigned based on team need

We are looking for people with:

• 2+ years of commercial insurance experience
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred
• Must have current P&C license
• Experience with developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally
