Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Senior Associate Broker for our Santa Rosa, CA office to join the Access State Fund team. This full-time, in-office role with a hybrid schedule after training works with retail agents to analyze new submissions, evaluate coverage needs, and submit quotes to carriers.

You will educate agents on carrier requirements, Amwins products, and capabilities, while building strong relationships with carriers and customers.

Qualifications

College degree preferred.
Must have P&C license.
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation insurance.
Ability to classify and rate risks.
Excellent typing skills.
Excellent organization skills.
Work from Santa Rosa, CA office preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze risks to determine eligibility, classifications and carrier(s).
Know products, underwriting guidelines, and binding requirements for the lines of business.
Submit new business information to carrier via online portal.
Offer quotes with subjectivities and conditions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
Review inspections and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Understand premium commitments to balance the book and obligations.
Assist retail brokers and educate on carrier requirements and Amwins products.
