Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Technical Assistant to join our growing team. The role supports Team Leader and Producers to service new and existing accounts to achieve agency sales goals and service standards.

You will develop procedures, handle client requests, review policies with carriers, and use agency automation to improve service. This position emphasizes personal development and a team-first mindset within an inclusive, merit-based culture.

Qualifications

• Office experience is required.
• Completion and/or evidence of skills as outlined by Commercial Management.
• High School degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop full working knowledge of procedures.
• Handle client requests for information, endorsements, cancellations and other services as required.
• Full responsibility for all Service Center Accounts.
• Be proficient in available carrier rating systems where provided for Agency use.
• Review policies, endorsements, audits, and quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the compilation and preparation of data.
• Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.
• Follow procedures established by management.

How You Will Contribute:

• Develop full working knowledge of procedures.

• Full responsibility for all Service Center Accounts.

• Develop a good working knowledge of company underwriting philosophies and appetites.
• Review policies, endorsements, audits, and quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the compilation and preparation of data.
• Keep Team Leader informed of any service problems.
• Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.
• Follow procedures established by management.
• Pursue a program of personal and professional development.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Office Experience.
• Completion and or evidence of skills as outlined by Commercial Management.
• High School Degree.
