Job summary

Conner Kline Farmers Insurance Agency in New York seeks an Insurance Agent who enjoys working with people, is goal-driven, and eager to grow. No prior insurance experience required.

You’ll be trained, coached, and supported as you quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Business coverage, build long-term client relationships, and pursue sales targets. This role offers base pay plus uncapped commissions, sales bonuses, and ongoing development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable talking with customers over the phone.
• Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential.
• Persistent when faced with rejection or setbacks.
• Coachable and open to feedback.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Connect with new and existing customers through leads, referrals, phone calls, and follow-up.
• Learn about customers' needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify additional coverage opportunities.
• Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects.
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
• Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training.
