Job summary

Horace Mann invites ambitious professionals to join as Exclusive Agents, operating with an exclusive territory and no overlap with other agents.

As an independent contractor, you’ll access performance-based compensation, a 48-month incentive package, and dedicated service support, plus cutting-edge technology and a broad product portfolio to meet client needs.

You’ll build relationships, present solutions to educators, manage your business, and benefit from market-building programs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency.
• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health; Property and Casualty.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators obtain affordable insurance and financial security.
• Build market access and strong relationships with clients.
• Confidently present products to groups and individuals.
• Engage in networking, community and industry events.
