Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to guide educators toward affordable insurance and financial security. You will build relationships, present a multiline product portfolio, and work without a traditional office for the first two years.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in insurance/financial services and active state licenses; FINRA licenses may be required depending on region. This is a growth-focused, performance-driven role.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills are essential.
• Active licensing in required lines of insurance is needed.
• Ability to obtain FINRA licenses if applicable.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
