Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to manage a defined territory and operate as an independent contractor with 1099 compensation and a robust 48-month incentive package.

Focus on educating clients, presenting a comprehensive multiline product portfolio, and building strategic educator relationships while leveraging cutting-edge technology and support services to grow your agency.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance and financial services preferred.
• Active Life and Health Insurance License and Property & Casualty License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement affordable insurance solutions for educators.
• Develop market access and build strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency.
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:

• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
