Role Description

In this full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Westerville, OH, the agent will advise clients on personal insurance products such as auto, home, and other property-related coverage. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing customer needs, explaining policy options, preparing quotes from multiple carriers, and recommending coverage that aligns with client risk profiles and budgets. The agent will handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries, assist with policy applications and renewals, and maintain accurate records in agency systems. The role also involves building and maintaining long-term client relationships, collaborating with internal partners, and staying current on carrier offerings and industry regulations. Agents are expected to meet sales and service goals while delivering clear, respectful, and compliant guidance to every customer.

Qualifications

• Strong insurance expertise, including Insurance and Insurance Brokerage skills relevant to personal lines coverage.
• Proven ability in Insurance Sales, with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets in a client-focused environment.
• Foundational knowledge of Finance to explain premiums, deductibles, coverage limits, and policy comparisons clearly.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving in person and by phone.
• State insurance producer license (or eligibility to obtain within a defined timeframe); prior agency or carrier experience preferred.
• Comfort working with digital tools and CRM or agency management systems; strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in Westerville, OH, collaborate with a team, and adapt to changing products, processes, and customer needs.
