Role Description

The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, KY. This role involves meeting with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options. The agent will prepare quotes, explain policy features and benefits, process applications, and assist clients with policy changes and renewals. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate client records, following up on leads, and collaborating with team members to meet sales and service goals. The agent will also provide ongoing support by answering client questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales, with the ability to identify client needs and match them to appropriate Insurance products.
• Experience in Insurance Brokerage or related roles, including working with multiple carriers and product lines.
• Solid understanding of Finance principles as they relate to risk management, premiums, and long-term planning.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and conflict resolution.
• Active insurance license in the applicable state(s), or eligibility and willingness to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• Ability to work on-site in Lexington, KY, with reliable attendance and professionalism.
• Comfort using CRM systems, office productivity software, and digital communication tools.
• Prior experience in personal lines, life, or commercial insurance is required with a proven track record.
