Role Description

Insurance ForUs is seeking anexperienced Insurance Agentfor an on site position in Manassas, VA.

This is a commission only position with no base salary. This is not a part time role.

This position focuses on generating new business, advising prospective clients, and closing sales. The ideal candidate has proven insurance sales experience, takes initiative, and enjoys building relationships with business owners and individuals.

Our office personnel handle renewals, policy changes, and ongoing customer service, allowing you to focus on sales and growing your book of business.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and consistent lead follow up.
• Assess prospective clients’ commercial and personal insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Prepare and present quotes, clearly explaining policy terms, coverage limits, and exclusions.
• Complete applications and coordinate with carriers and office personnel to secure coverage.
• Maintain accurate prospect records and manage an active sales pipeline.
• Build referral relationships and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
• Coordinate a smooth transition to office personnel for ongoing policy service.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance sales experience is required, with a demonstrated ability to generate business and close sales.
• An active Property and Casualty insurance license is required.
