Security First Bank is seeking an experienced Insurance Agent to develop new crop insurance business for farm and ranch clients in Beatrice, Nebraska. You will build relationships within the agricultural community, assess risk management needs, and tailor coverage across crop, farm, property, and related products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nebraska Crop Insurance License required in the applicable state; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Minimum of five years of crop insurance, agricultural insurance, or related sales experience.
• Knowledge of crop insurance products, agricultural operations, and RMA regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new crop insurance business while building relationships within the agricultural community.
• Meet with producers to assess risk management needs and recommend appropriate crop and farm insurance solutions.
• Sell and service crop insurance policies, while identifying opportunities for cross-selling farm, property, casualty, and benefits products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through policy reviews, renewals, and ongoing account management.
• Stay current on Risk Management Agency (RMA) regulations, industry trends, and company products to provide informed guidance to clients.

• Minimum of five years of crop insurance, agricultural insurance, or related sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of crop insurance products, agricultural operations, and RMA regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a professional environment.
