Job summary

Security First Bank is seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to develop new crop insurance business, cultivate relationships within the agricultural community, and deliver tailored risk management solutions for farms and ranches.

The role emphasizes strong sales acumen, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service to support growth of our insurance operations. Nebraska-based license and ongoing professional development are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nebraska Crop Insurance License required in the applicable state; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Minimum of five years of crop insurance, agricultural insurance, or related sales experience.
• Knowledge of crop insurance products, agricultural operations, and RMA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new crop insurance business while building relationships within the agricultural community.
• Meet with producers to assess risk management needs and recommend appropriate crop and farm insurance solutions.
• Sell and service crop insurance policies, while identifying opportunities for cross-selling farm, property, casualty, and benefits products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through policy reviews, renewals, and ongoing account management.
• Stay current on Risk Management Agency (RMA) regulations, industry trends, and company products to provide informed guidance to clients.
