This role is responsible for developing new crop insurance business, maintaining strong relationships within the agricultural community, delivering customized risk management solutions to farm and ranch clients, and delivering customized coverage solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales acumen, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service while supporting the growth of our insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new crop insurance business while building relationships within the agricultural community.
• Meet with producers to assess risk management needs and recommend appropriate crop and farm insurance solutions.
• Sell and service crop insurance policies, while identifying opportunities for cross-selling farm, property, casualty, and benefits products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through policy reviews, renewals, and ongoing account management.
• Stay current on Risk Management Agency (RMA) regulations, industry trends, and company products to provide informed guidance to clients.

Qualifications: Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for visiting clients throughout the service area.
• Active Nebraska Crop Insurance License required in the applicable state; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Knowledge of insurance products, including Property and Casualty, Life and Health, or Crop Insurance. Minimum of five years of crop insurance, agricultural insurance, or related sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of crop insurance products, agricultural operations, and RMA regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a professional environment.
