Job summary

Stone Insurance Agency in Bad Axe, MI is seeking licensed insurance agents to join our family. The role focuses on actively marketing in the community, growing the agency's book of business, and educating clients on insurance products.

Candidates must hold active property and casualty licenses (life licenses a plus) and be proficient with multiple systems, communication, and building lasting client relationships. Base plus commission is offered for year one.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a property and casualty insurance agent.

Compensation

• Base plus commission expected year one $25,000-$50,000

Responsibilities

• Actively Market in the community
• Help the Agency maintain and grow their book of business
• Educate clients on Insurance
• Great attitude and behavior
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products.
• Establish client relationships and provide exceptional and extraordinary service.
• Work independently and with mentoring/coaching.

Skills

• Proven working experience as a property and casualty insurance agent and active licenses. Life licenses is a plus.
• Familiarity with all types of P&C insurance, both personal and commercial. Farm is a plus. Life is a plus.
• Computer skills are a necessity. We have multiple systems to serve customers, including an agency management system, an e-Signature suite, and texting and messaging.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and effectively sell appropriate solutions.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
• Active insurance licenses are an absolute must.
