Job summary

Michigan Farm Bureau is seeking an Agency Development Partner to recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage multiple-line life and property & casualty independent agents and agencies within a defined market territory.

The role focuses on supporting production growth, producer development, and profitable operations while upholding a culture aligned with our values. You will work closely with County leadership to achieve objectives and maintain strong relationships with agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in insurance marketing and sales.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• FINSECA membership required.
• Acquire and maintain a certification in business coaching within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recruit agents for net growth and stability in the market territory.
• Recruit agent candidates in accordance with established guidelines.
• Onboard, field train, coach, and manage multiple-line independent agents and agencies.
• Support Senior Market Leader in achieving territory and regional objectives.
• Engage in recruitment activities for the territory and refine practices across sources.
• Maintain strong relationships with County leadership and agents.
