Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Dallas is seeking an experienced insurance account professional to provide customer service and service of assigned policies, and to support Producer-led new business efforts. Responsibilities include renewing existing client coverage, preparing proposals, marketing, and coordinating with producers; reviewing bills, and assisting with claims.

A valid insurance license and CE requirements must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six or more years of related work experience.
• Valid Insurance License and ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
• Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses renewal strategy with Producer.
• Analyzes exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
• Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals.
• Finalizes proposals and presentations with Producer coordination.
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and certificates.
• Reviews policies for accuracy and contract terms.
• Prepares summaries/schedules of coverage for clients.
• Reviews client accounting history, addresses inquiries, and collects receivables.
• Participates in claims process as directed and communicates with clients.
• Provides technical guidance to staff and notifies brokers of client retention information.
• Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer.
• Collects fees, reconciles, and resolves outstanding balances within 90 days.
• Complies with data standards in agency management system.
