Insurance Account Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

Full Time in Brooklyn, NY

Position Overview

Do you have aspirations to run your own business? If so, you may want to consider working in the office of Sammy Martinez - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you will gain firsthand experience of what it takes to become a State Farm Agent. You will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance. This position offers an opportunity to work in an agent's office and explore the possibility of becoming a State Farm agent yourself.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer relationships, following up as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary plus commission/bonus
• Hourly pay plus commission/bonus

Requirements

• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for how insurance and financial products help people manage risks, recover from the unexpected, and achieve their dreams.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).

Compensation ranges from $40,000 to $150,000 per year.
