Job summary

Hanscom Federal Credit Union & Fleetwood Insurance Group is seeking an Account Manager to manage assigned accounts as the primary insurance advisor. You will analyze client risks, current coverages, and objectives, and provide timely service while advising on coverage options and market placement.

The role emphasizes strong client relations and professional judgment. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in Personal/Commercial Lines insurance, knowledge of under-writing concepts, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in Personal/Commercial Lines insurance account management, underwriting, sales or related insurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Personal/Commercial Lines Property & Casualty coverages, forms, endorsements, and underwriting concepts.
• Ability to analyze risk, select markets, and advise clients within authority.
• Excellent client consultation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and agency management systems; Applied Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts as primary insurance advisor, meeting client needs and providing timely service.
• Analyze client risks, exposures, existing coverage, and objectives to identify gaps or emerging exposures.
• Evaluate coverage and placement options, including terms, limits, deductibles, and premiums.
• Advise clients on coverage alternatives and recommend solutions based on risk analysis.
• Review renewals and determine whether to renew, remarket, or modify coverage.
• Counsel clients on policy changes, endorsements, and related coverage implications.
