Matthew Kendig State Farm is seeking an Account Representative to grow the agency through strong customer relations and by serving as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. This role focuses on proactive marketing of relevant products and services to improve customers' lives.

Responsibilities include developing leads, establishing relationships, and delivering prompt, accurate customer service across inquiries about coverage, changes, transfers, claims, and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
