Job summary

USI Insurance Services seeks a client-focused individual for the Customer Care Center to service, market, and retain client accounts in Personal Lines P&C. You will coordinate with carriers, respond to underwriters, and ensure accurate processing of transactions with a focus on service quality and efficiency.

The role requires 2–5 years of P&C insurance experience, a Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Agency; thorough understanding of coverages, underwriting and rating concepts.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty license or willing to obtain one within timeframe.
• Ideally hold ARM, CIC or CPCU or pursue related courses.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Team-oriented, with ability to share information to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Service client accounts independently via carrier websites and online rating systems.
• Provide technical support in coordinating service of new and existing clients through sales and account development.
• Submit to eligible carriers and follow up for quotes and policies.
• Respond to underwriters' questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Refer clients to carriers for direct reporting of claims and file first reports when needed.
