Experience Senior Living Team is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to join our team in South Carolina. This full-time position, 6a–6p shifts, involves administering medications, maintaining careful resident records, and providing high-quality care to residents.

Responsibilities include reminders and administration of meds, coordination with pharmacies, room visits, emergency responsiveness, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to provide medication reminders and assist with administration per state rules.
• Demonstrates strong communication and hospitality to residents and families.
• Experience in elder care and ability to maintain accurate records in a digital platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders/assistance per state regulations.
• Administer medications as allowed by state guidelines.
• Order and receive medications; communicate with pharmacy if not available.
• Prioritize tasks to meet residents' changing needs.
• Maintain residents' records in digital platform daily (meds, incidents, observations).
• Conduct room visits/checks; assist with resident care as needed.
• Respond to resident requests including emergency pull cords and family requests.
• Monitor residents' safety; report changes to Health & Wellness Director or Wellness Nurse.
• Audit rooms for self-administered meds; ensure guidelines compliance.
• Maintain communication with supervisor/peers on resident issues.
• May perform other duties as needed.
