Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Technician on the North Slope. The role includes testing, installation, calibration, repair, and inspection of instrumentation and monitoring devices used in manufacturing and process equipment.

The candidate should have at least five years in instrumentation or mechanical maintenance, with industrial or oil & gas experience, a high school diploma or GED, a driver’s license, and NSTC safety training certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in instrumentation or mechanical maintenance.
• Industrial or Oil & Gas field experience required.
• Driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform general maintenance on instrumentation (electrical and mechanical).
• Design and install new measuring equipment.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair I&E malfunctions using test instruments.
• Plan layout and wiring of new or modified installations.
• Maintain inventory of I&E parts and prepare safety reports.
