Job summary

Veolia in Wisconsin is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and overhaul process instrumentation and control systems. You will work with electronic, pneumatic, and digital systems and support PLC/DCS interfaces.

The role requires electronics knowledge, soldering skills, and the ability to read schematics; safety training and a Wisconsin driver’s license are needed. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or demonstrated ability in electronics technology.
• 1–3 years electronics technology experience.
• Knowledge of digital/analog electronics and testing equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and instrument drawings.
• Proficient in calibrating instruments and diagnosing issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul instrumentation.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
• Install and maintain control systems and associated hardware.
• Use test equipment and AutoCAD for system wiring and interfaces.
• Work with engineers/vendors on startup, testing and design updates.
• Update operating and maintenance documents and repair records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
