Job summary

Veolia is seeking a maintenance technician to support powerhouse and HVAC systems in Milwaukee. The role involves installing, calibrating, repairing, and overhauling supervisory instrumentation and related controls, following safety rules and participating in required safety trainings.

Candidate will implement preventive maintenance, read diagrams, program data loggers, and maintain parts inventory. Strong troubleshooting of remote/local control systems and sensors is essential; relevant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Associate degree in Instrument Technology, Electronic Technology, Computer Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with Powerhouse, Power Generation and HVAC is strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair remote and local control systems for HVAC, Gas Turbines, Boilers, Air compressors, Generators and Valves.
• Ability to troubleshoot sensing devices for pressure, temperature, UV, motion and fluid flow.
• Communicates effectively via written and oral methods.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, participate in safety training, and report unsafe conditions.
• Install, maintain, calibrate, repair and overhaul powerhouse systems and associated instruments.
• Implement a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and records.
• Read process and instrument diagrams.
• Program programmable data loggers and controllers (multi‑loop ladder and function).
• Generate hard copy records of ladder logics.
• Assist outside service engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
