Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a DoD contractor providing range operations, maintenance, and engineering support across multiple domains.

The General Technician will perform wiring, electronics, drafting, instrumentation, and mechanical tasks, supporting senior engineers and technicians on test programs at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days, a valid driver’s license, U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification within 60 days.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Current driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineering staff by gathering materials and delivering to work/test locations.
• Perform general engineering support for wiring, sheet metal, electronics, drafting, instrumentation, structures or machining.
• Wire instrumentation packages and platforms following VX-23 and AID processes.
• Conform to AVMI/ LM FOD, tool control and security policies and inspections.
• Support instrumentation testing, pre-/post-flight checks and data collection.
