Job summary

JANUS Research Group in Newport News, VA seeks a qualified IS Requirements Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support ACIDS documentation for Live Training systems. The role focuses on development, staffing, validation, and analytics across Army and DoD stakeholders.

The analyst will manage CONEMPs, ICDs, A-CDDs, CDDs, CPDs, STRAPs, and other requirements artifacts, ensuring traceability and timely updates in KDP and related repositories. Strong writing and briefing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience developing ACIDS documentation.
• Ability to staff and finalize requirements staffing packages per Army guidance.
• Experience with Live Training instrumentation environments.
• Strong written and oral communication in a Government requirements environment.
• Ability to meet short suspenses and produce quality-controlled, decision-ready products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the requirements analyst supporting the Government SME and engineers in ACIDS documentation development and staffing.
• Develop and staff ACIDS requirements products (ICD, A-CDD, CDD, CPD, STRAP, etc.).
• Develop CONEMPs and use cases for Live Training systems and supporting elements.
• Capture, document, and maintain requirements-analysis data in KDP within suspense timelines.
• Conduct capability gap analyses, A/Os, cost-benefit analyses, and DOTMLPF-P assessments.
• Review STRAPs for impact and provide results to the Government SME.
• Coordinate validation and approval across commands and agencies; adjudicate staffing comments.
• Develop and integrate requirements metrics including KPIs and measures.
• Maintain traceability and post products to collaboration environments.
• Support traceability tools and controlled exports; ensure repositories are authoritative.
• Apply ACIDS framework to IS equities (instrumentation, data capture, interoperability).
• Utilize DAU WAU courses and other training as part of professional development.
• Demonstrate experience with Live Training instrumentation and test/training data.
