Job summary

The City of Boca Raton is seeking an Instrumentation Supervisor to oversee the Instrumentation Division, including installation, testing, maintenance of instrumentation and SCADA systems. You will supervise technical staff and contractors and respond to emergency system issues.

The role involves managing schedules, preventive maintenance programs, purchases, and budgets, while ensuring safe, reliable communication and control systems for the Utility Services Department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or related field; 10 years in electrical/electronic systems and OT SCADA Networks.
• Experience supervising technicians in an industrial environment.
• Florida Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Instrumentation Division.
• Oversee installation, testing and maintenance of instrumentation and SCADA equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, manage work orders and budgets.
• Provide training and technical support to department staff.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and reliability of systems.
