Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the North Chesterfield, VA office. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred. Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of electrical/pneumatics; familiarity with Prophet 21 and Microsoft Office is helpful.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or two to four years of related experience.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
• Proficiency in calculating discounts, pricing, and converting measurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to customers and support to outside sales staff.
• Work with Instrumentation product lines and respond to technical questions about products or systems.
• Answer calls or customer correspondence about technical questions and advise on substitutions or modifications.
• Identify and specify products based on customer application and design prerequisites.
• Coordinate with service technicians or managers to resolve technical problems or refer to senior staff as needed.
• Prepare detailed product quotations including price, discounts, and shipping.
• Inform customers about pricing, back orders, deliveries, and tracking information.

Education

Associates Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred; or two to four years of related experience
