Job summary
Cooperative Energy seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician III to support installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems at the Batesville plant. The role involves working with DCS and PLC-based equipment, reading schematics, and documenting activities in computerized maintenance systems.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or an Associate degree in Instrumentation and Electrical fields)
Qualifications
- Education minimum as stated: Diploma or associate degree in related field.
- Experience equivalence: 4 years industrial electrical work or advanced degree.
- Pass background screening and valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Assist installation, calibration, troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Support maintenance of DCS/PLC and other control systems.
- Read electrical drawings and document work orders and inventories.
- Follow safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out and incident reporting.
- Respond to emergency calls and OT/weekend work when needed.
