Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a comparable role in oil and gas instrumentation
Working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards
Hazardous area installation and inspection experience is an advantage
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, schematics and testing specifications

Responsibilities

Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair control, indicating and measuring instrument devices.
Read manuals, blueprints, schematics and loop drawings and prepare job reports.
Assemble and disassemble electronic process controls, pneumatic controls and hydraulic systems.
Calibrate equipment using standard procedures and read related documents.
Understand instrumentation loops and the function of components.
Verify inspections, test plans and quality records on site.
