Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for our Taylor, TX location. The role focuses on testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial instrumentation to ensure operating performance.

Candidates should have strong electro-mechanical knowledge and be able to read schematics and PLCs. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of pressure and flow transmitters, valves, and telemetry systems, with emphasis on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Advanced electro-mechanical knowledge required.
• Must understand electrical schematics and PLCs.
• Experience with instrumentation maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CMMS tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot instrumentation equipment issues and identify solutions.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance.
• Document all work orders and calibration data.
• Provide support during commissioning and startup of new instrumentation equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and cooperate with other departments.
