Job summary

Cenergy International Services is seeking a Maintenance Planner with 5+ years of SAP experience for a 12-month contract in Sabine Pass, TX. The role focuses on planning projects and turnarounds, creating and maintaining schedules, and coordinating with Project, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure cost control and timely execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge, experience with MS Project or Primavera P6, and a background in oil, gas, or petrochemical

Responsibilities

• Plan project and turnaround activities for the asset.
• Create and maintain project and outage plans using planning software.
• Prioritize work for quick response, maintain backlog, and control costs.
• Create job packs with all information for job plans.
• Coordinate development of work orders and schedules with Project, Construction, and Operations.
• Develop and complete look-ahead schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, 4-year) with engineers and technicians.
• Manage dispatching of work and client availability with supervision.
• Provide CMMS technical support and ensure proper work order documentation.
• Identify material requirements and interface with vendor/supply chain as needed.
• Assist in KPI development and reporting on schedule compliance and regulatory maintenance.
• Analyze deviations, variations, and trends with graphs; suggest procedural changes.
• Assist in writing procedures and training to improve efficiency.
• Assist on budget development as required.

Duration: 12-Month Contract (Likely to extend, Long term)

Schedule: M-F, 6am - 3:30pm (40 hours/wk. and OT only if needed)

Description:

Candidates must possess experience with SAP. Additionally, a solid understanding of instrumentation, electrical and a background in planning are required.

Essential Duties / Functions

• Planning of project and turnaround activities for the asset.
• Create and maintain project and outage plans utilizing planning software.
• Plans and prioritizes work for fast and efficient response, effective backlog maintenance and cost control.
• Creates job packs, including all relevant information for job plans.
• Coordinates the development of work orders and schedules with Project, Construction, and Operations and Maintenance personnel.
• Develops and completes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and 4-yearly look-ahead schedules for expense and upgrade work by working closely with functional supervisors, engineering and technicians.
• Manages the dispatching of work and availability of Client in coordination with supervision.
• Provides technical support for personnel within the CMMS modules.
• Ensures proper documentation for work orders is in place.
• Identifies material requirements and interfaces with vendor and/or supply chain as needed.
• Assist with development of KPI's and produce reports on schedule compliance, with emphasis in maintenance/inspection regulatory compliance.
• This will include analysis of deviations, variations, and trends with graphical representations
• Requests changes to procedures as required
• Assists in the writing of procedures as required
• Recommends and implements training to enhance effectiveness of work activities.
• Assists on budget development as required.

Required Skills/Education:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Technical Degree or similar is a plus - Will accept experience in lieu of degree
• 5 plus years of maintenance experience utilizing SAP in the Oil and Gas, or petrochemical facilities
• Heavy working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Strong knowledge and experience in Planning, Scheduling and Execution processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Scheduling software definition and build experience is a plus.
• Prometheus experience is preferred.
• Experience with project planning software such as MS project or Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulating, heavy equipment operation-rigging/lifting crafts, welding, fabrication, machining work estimation and planning.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in a PHMSA regulated Pipeline facility preferred.
• Experience with gas compression and metering equipment preferred.
• Maintain or ability to maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status
