Job summary

TealEnergi seeks an experienced I/E Planner to support planning, scheduling, and execution in an industrial maintenance environment. You will develop and maintain maintenance, project, and outage plans, ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, resource utilization, and cost control.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAP experience, instrumentation and electrical systems knowledge, and proven planning and scheduling expertise within oil & gas or related industries.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP-based maintenance planning experience in oil & gas or related facilities.
  • Experience with project and turnaround planning.
  • PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities experience preferred.
  • Gas compression and metering equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate project, maintenance, and turnaround activities.
  • Create, develop, and maintain project and outage schedules using planning software.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-range look-ahead schedules for maintenance and upgrade activities.
  • Prioritize work activities to ensure efficient execution, backlog management, and cost control.
  • Coordinate schedules and work plans with Operations, Maintenance, Construction, Engineering, and Project teams.
  • Manage work dispatching and manpower availability in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Create comprehensive job packages that include all relevant planning information.
  • Ensure work orders are properly developed, documented, and maintained within the CMMS.
  • Identify material requirements and coordinate with vendors and supply chain personnel to support planned work activities.
  • Provide technical support to personnel utilizing CMMS modules.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and execution process through effective use of SAP and related systems.
  • Assist with scheduling software development and configuration where applicable.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate reports on schedule compliance, maintenance performance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Analyze deviations, trends, and performance variations, including graphical reporting and data presentation.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Request, update, and assist in the development of maintenance and operational procedures.
  • Recommend and support training initiatives to improve work execution effectiveness.
  • Assist with budget development and planning activities as required.
  • Support outage, maintenance, and capital improvement programs to achieve operational objectives.

About the Role

Client is seeking an experienced I/E Planner to support planning, scheduling, and execution activities within an industrial maintenance environment. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining maintenance, project, and outage plans while ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, resource utilization, and cost control. Responsibilities

  • Experience in PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities preferred.
  • Experience with gas compression and metering equipment preferred.
Required Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Experience with Planning, Scheduling, and Execution processes, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with project planning software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Experience with scaffolding, painting, insulation, welding, fabrication, machining, rigging/lifting operations, heavy equipment operations, and work estimation/planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
